RTR Vehicles will invite 20 Mustang enthusiasts (and a guest) to attend the RTR Enthusiast Experience at Holley Ford Fest in Bowling Green, Kentucky for an exciting day of motorsports and community.

RTR Vehicles will invite 20 Mustang enthusiasts (and a guest) to attend the RTR Experience at Holley Ford Fest in Bowling Green, Kentucky for an exciting day of motorsports and community. The selection process includes many variables but one major factor is YOUR Mustang story. In the form below, share with us your passion and enthusiasm you have for the Ford Mustang. Attendees will experience four different motorsports disciplines (two behind the wheel of their own Mustang with professional instruction, and two from the passenger seat of RTR Vehicles’ Ready-to-Rock fleet with a professional driver). The one-day event will thrust attendees into the world of Drift, Autocross, Drag, and Off-Road FUN, giving everyone an unforgettable experience that only RTR can offer.
Novice or first-time enthusiasts are highly encouraged to sign-up! The world of motorsports can be intimidating, but it’s also the most fun you can have on four wheels! RTR Vehicles’ experience events are open to enthusiasts of all levels, but the on-track activities are designed to let you experience your Mustang in a way that’s comfortable for you. At the end of the day, the goal is to have fun, make some new friends, and to let your Mustang put a smile on your face like it did the day you bought it!

Motorsport Disciplines
Drift
Experience the sideways action of Formula Drift from the passenger seat of two-time Formula Drift champion, Vaughn Gittin, Jr., or 9-Time Formula Drift event winner, Chelsea DeNofa’s Seventh-Gen Mustang RTR Spec 5-Ds. With the smell of race gas and tire smoke filling the air, passengers will experience door-to-door action, as Vaughn and Chelsea push their Mustangs to the limits. These purpose-built drift vehicles showcase the Mustang’s incredible capabilities, which lead to the advent of Ford’s Drift Brake in the 2024 Mustang.
Autocross
Feel the exhilaration of intense lateral G-forces as you navigate the challenging autocross course in your own Mustang. Never been on an autocross course? We got you covered! You’ll receive instruction from IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge GS champion and World Endurance Championship driver, Billy Johnson. Billy has been involved as a test driver for Ford Motor Company and Multimatic Motorsports during the development of the Shelby GT350/R, 2016 Ford GT, Ford GT GTE/GTLM, Mustang GT4, FP350S, Mustang Performance Pack 2, and the new GT500.You’ll pilot your Mustang around the autocross, while receiving real-time instruction as Billy guides you from the passenger seat.
Drag
Brute power and sheer acceleration await as your Mustang puts you back in the seat, leaving the starting line on the edge of traction. Never been down the drag strip? No problem! Ford Performance Parts, Chassis and Wheel Product Manager, Autumn Schwalbe will offer guidance and instruction to participants on the finer points of drag racing. Autumn is a NMRA and NMCA drag racer in Mod Muscle and 8.60 Street Car Classes, and was part of Drag Illustrated’s 30 Under 30 class of 2022. Autumn will walk you through how to get your Mustang safely and quickly down the quarter mile track. We will also guide you through the technology your Mustang is already equipped with, allowing you to experience the power the way Ford intended.
Off-Road
RTR’s brand of FUN taps into way more than just Mustang excitement! Experience the Ford Bronco like you never have on an Ultra4-inspired off-road course. Three-time Ultra4 Racing Champion, Vaughn Gittin, Jr., will give you an ultra-exciting ride through various off-road terrain, designed to push the limits of the Bronco. We hope you don’t mind a little dirt!
Arrive and Drive
This event is extremely casual within the world of motorsports—we want everyone to have a good time above all else. Each event is designed around the factory Mustang’s capabilities, and no vehicle modifications are required. You simply arrive and drive!
Safety Gear
On-track activities (as a driver or a passenger) do require a helmet. Don’t have one? We got you covered! Want to use your own? Awesome!
Safety Inspection
A brief safety inspection will be performed on each vehicle (checking for leaks, uneven tire wear, etc.) prior to any on-track activities.
Meet & Greet
In addition to the on-track excitement, you’ll also spend time with the RTR pro drivers at the morning meet & greet, lunch, end of day recap, and any afterhours activities the RTR Vehicles team participates in.
After-Hours Events
When the on-track excitement is done for the day, the action is just heating up! We’ll hang out for the always-exciting Retro Meet. Retro Meet celebrates one of the greatest generations in Mustang history—1979-1998. Retro cars, retro music, huge burnouts, and one of the best parties of the year! From there, the team will head out for an evening of axe throwing to decompress and close out the day.
Sunday Morning Cruise
What could be better than carving through scenic mountain and riverfront roads in your Mustang? Kentucky boasts a beautiful countryside with incredible driving roads. Join the RTR team and hit the road on a 75-mile morning cruise to cap off an incredible weekend. The cruise will conclude at Beech Bend Raceway, where you can display your Mustang in the RTR event area, while enjoying the conclusion of Holley Ford Fest.
