Fort Mill Ford Sells Their First RTR Mustang!
We are excited to announce our latest Ford dealer relationship with Fort Mill Ford! They have been serving the Charlotte community for over 25 years and as of recently, decided to partner with us to sell RTR vehicles and components through their dealership. Since they are located just 45 minutes from the RTR Lab, they chose to have us build 3 RTR Mustangs through our Built by RTR program.
The first build we completed for Fort Mill Ford was a 2022 Mustang RTR Spec 2 in Carbonized Gray!
It arrived to us as a bone stock 2022 Mustang GT. Over the course of a few days, it would be transformed from stock to Ready to Rock!
We started upgrading the suspension first. The factory front and rear suspension was removed along with the front and rear sway bars. For the suspension, we added our RTR Tactical Performance Lower Springs, Adjustable Shocks/Struts and Adjustable Front and Rear Sway Bars.
Once all the suspension was installed, it was now time to install the RTR exterior components. The front bumper was removed so our RTR Technician could remove the factory fascia components and replace them with the RTR Upper Grille w/ LEDS, RTR Lower Grille, RTR Chin Splitter and RTR Bumper Vents. Once all of the
All of the aforementioned fascia components were installed and then installed back on the Mustang to give it a more aggressive appearance!
Moving right along to the other exterior components, the RTR Quarter Splitters, RTR Rocker Splitters and RTR Rear Diffusers were installed. The RTR Rear Diffusers are the only exterior components that needed extra modifications to the factory components in order to install them correctly.
To complete the exterior components list, we had to remove the factory rear spoiler and installed the RTR Rear Spoiler.
Now it’s time to apply the RTR Graphics and badging! Each serialized RTR Spec Mustang receives a Graphics Package that includes a hood graphic and full side graphic that flows along body lines of the S550 Mustang.
The Satin Charcoal RTR Tech 7 Wheels were mounted, balanced and installed to finish out the full build of this brand new Mustang RTR Spec 2.
