A Signature build begins with a conversation.
It is not about selecting a collection of individual parts and hoping they work together. It is about getting to know the owner, understanding what inspires them, and turning that perspective into one cohesive Mustang RTR.
For Gary, the foundation was already in place: a 2025 Mustang RTR Spec 3 finished in Race Red.

Gary has owned Mustangs in the past, but when he saw this Race Red Spec 3, he knew he had to have it. The car already delivered the aggressive styling, performance, and driving experience he was looking for. After discovering the Mustang RTR Signature Package, he saw an opportunity to take it one step further and create something that was uniquely his.
The result is the latest Mustang RTR Spec 3-S to come out of the RTR Lab.
Understanding Gary’s Vision
Gary primarily enjoys his Mustang as a weekend cruiser. When it is time to get behind the wheel, he looks for open roads, less crowded areas, and an opportunity to simply enjoy the car.
That gave the RTR design team an important starting point. This was not being built to sit quietly in the background. Gary wanted his Mustang to look good, stand out, and feel special every time he took it out.

His direction was clear from the beginning: he loves red, and he wanted the design to lean heavily into a red and black color combination. At the same time, he was open to the team introducing white, silver, charcoal, and other complementary finishes if they helped bring depth and contrast to the final design.
During his consultation with RTR Creative Director Lindsay Ross and the RTR team, the conversation went far beyond choosing colors.

The team discussed different textures, finishes, graphic styles, lighting treatments, and wheel colors. Dark charcoals, liquid silver tones, satin textures, warm metallic finishes, geometric patterns, fractured shapes, and color-changing elements were all explored as possible ways to complement the Race Red exterior.
The goal was to present Gary with a range of directions, from more subtle treatments to designs that would make a much stronger statement.

Personal Inspiration Without the Obvious Graphics
The Signature Package is designed around the owner, so the team also wanted to understand Gary’s interests outside of the Mustang itself.
One of those interests is Star Wars. Gary leans toward the darker side of that universe, particularly the Empire and Darth Vader.

That did not mean placing characters or obvious Star Wars graphics across the side of the car. Instead, Lindsay used those interests as creative inspiration. Themes of advanced technology, space, movement, geometric forms, and a darker, more commanding visual presence helped guide the design process.
The team also explored inspiration from science-fiction worlds such as Blade Runner and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Ideas involving portal-like lighting, stretched movement, faceted shapes, and futuristic textures provided additional creative cues without allowing the theme to overpower the Mustang itself.

The references were intentionally subtle. Someone looking at the finished vehicle may not immediately know every influence behind it, but Gary knows why those details are there.
That is what makes it his Signature.
From Consultation to Render
Following the initial consultation, Lindsay and the RTR design team took everything they had learned about Gary and translated it into several design concepts.
Each render approached the Race Red Mustang differently. Some options were more restrained, while others explored bolder graphic treatments and stronger contrast. Gary was able to review the different directions and decide how far he wanted to take the visual transformation.

Once he saw the concepts, there was little hesitation.
The design that leaned most heavily into the red and black direction immediately stood out to him. It carried the bold presence Gary wanted while remaining cohesive with the factory Race Red paint and the existing RTR design language.

That was the one.
Gary remained closely involved as the selected concept was refined and prepared for installation. His feedback was part of every stage, ensuring that the finished vehicle remained true to the vision established during the first conversation.
Performance to Match the Design
The transformation was not limited to appearance.
Gary’s Spec 3-S received the Whipple Stage 2 Upgrade, bringing the output of its 5.0-liter V8 to 870 horsepower. The additional power gives Gary 870 reasons to find the open roads he enjoys, with more responsive acceleration and power on tap throughout the rev range.

RTR Tactical Performance Coilovers were added to provide a more responsive and connected driving experience. With adjustable ride height and 30 clicks of simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment, the suspension can be dialed in to match the vehicle’s stance and Gary’s preferred driving feel.

An RTR by Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System completes the performance upgrades. Purpose-developed to bring out the character of the Coyote V8, the system delivers the sound and presence expected from a Mustang carrying the RTR badge.

Together, the upgrades ensure that Gary’s Spec 3-S feels every bit as intentional from behind the wheel as it looks from the outside.
Built and Delivered at the RTR Lab
Every Signature Package is completed at the RTR Lab in Concord, North Carolina, where the design moves from a digital render to a finished Mustang RTR.
For Gary, the experience came full circle when he returned to the Lab to take delivery.

Waiting for him was the Race Red Mustang he had first fallen in love with, now transformed into a Spec 3-S built around his tastes, interests, and vision.
Vaughn Gittin Jr. personally unveiled the completed car before adding one final detail: his autograph beneath the hood.

It was the finishing touch on a build that Gary helped shape from the first consultation through the final reveal.
Your Vision, Brought to Life
Gary’s Mustang shows what the Signature Package is meant to accomplish.
It does not replace the identity of the original Mustang RTR. It builds upon it, using personalized design, carefully selected details, and elevated performance to create a vehicle that reflects the person who owns it.

For Gary, that meant beginning with the Race Red Spec 3 he had to have and transforming it into a bold red and black Spec 3-S that could only belong to him.
One owner. One vision. One unmistakable Signature.
