Proceeds of one-off 700hp Mustang to benefit next generation of pilots. The awesome one-off Eagle Squadron Mustang GT that Ford developed together with drifting champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. has been auctioned off at a fundraiser in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for an impressive $420,000. Brayton Williams placed the winning bid at the event for the modified 700-hp Mustang GT and the proceeds will go towards supporting the Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture and the next generation of pilots. Ford Performance has just released a teaser image of a new custom Mustang GT built with Vaughn Gittin Jr's Ready to Rock team. While only showing a top-down shot, it's apparent that the car is wearing a British Royal Air Force livery. Before the U.S. officially entered World War II in 1941, many American pilots served in RAF "Eagle Squadrons," and this build has been created as a salute to them.
