On Saturday, June 28th, 2025, RTR® Vehicles had the pleasure of hosting an unforgettable day with members of the NC Bronco Club. The adventure kicked off at the RTR Lab in Concord, North Carolina, where 15–20 club members arrived for an exclusive tour and a behind-the-scenes look at what powers the RTR lifestyle. From there, we hit the trails at Uwharrie National Forest for a full day of off-road fun, led by none other than Vaughn Gittin Jr. and members of the RTR Team.

A Morning at the RTR Lab

Before the dirt, dust, and adventure kicked in, we welcomed the NC Bronco Club to our home base—the RTR Lab. Vaughn Gittin Jr. personally led the tour, walking the group through RTR’s motorsports heritage, vehicle development areas, and fabrication zone. Guests got up close with some of the most iconic builds in RTR history, including the first production Mustang RTR, the Mustang Mach-E 1400, and several other standout vehicles from our fleet.

The group also got a glimpse of where our RTR Spec 5-FD Mustangs are built and maintained—the same cars that compete (and win) in Formula Drift. Plus, we showcased the space where our Built by RTR program comes to life, delivering custom builds directly from the Lab to enthusiasts across the country.

In a special moment of appreciation, the NC Bronco Club surprised Vaughn and the RTR Team with a custom trophy and a few keepsakes to commemorate the day. It was a thoughtful gesture that truly highlighted the community vibe we all share.

Destination: Uwharrie

With the Lab tour wrapped and the convoy assembled, it was time to hit the road toward Uwharrie National Forest—one of North Carolina’s top off-road destinations.

Before we hit the trails, we linked up at the El Dorado Outpost to grab some snacks, air down, and dial in our rigs for the day ahead. It gave everyone a chance to check out each other’s Broncos, talk trail setups, and prepare our rigs before heading into Uwharrie.

The group tackled the Rocky Mountain Loop and Dickey Bell, both offering the perfect blend of technical terrain and scenic views. The trail difficulty was intermediate, but thanks to Vaughn’s on-the-trail guidance, every club member gained confidence as they progressed.

Whether it was choosing the right drive mode, learning when to engage lockers, or picking the best line, there were learning moments throughout the day that brought value to every driver.

Our fleet for the day included the Bronco RTR ROVR, Vaughn’s personal BRaptor, the Bronco RTR Fun Runner, and a Bronco RTR that played a key role in past development. Needless to say, the lineup was Ready to Rock™.

The Bronco RTR ROVR in Action

This Bronco RTR ROVR turned heads all day on the trails. Painted in Leadfoot Grey from our RTR Extended Color Palette, it stood out with a purpose-built look and all the performance to back it up. This build was equipped with the optional FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Suspension and 37-inch Tire Package, making light work of Uwharrie’s toughest obstacles.

The terrain at Uwharrie was no match for the capabilities of the Bronco RTR ROVR. It proved exactly why it’s the ultimate blend of functionality and style for Bronco owners who are ready to explore. To learn more about the Bronco RTR ROVR, learn more HERE.

The energy? Unmatched. The weather? Perfect. And the vibes? All-time high

One of the best parts of the day wasn’t just seeing Broncos climb rocks or navigate rough terrain—it was watching club members encourage each other, offer help, and push their comfort zones together. Vaughn jumped in to help guide and spot drivers through tough obstacles, creating moments that not only made memories but strengthened their off-road skills in the process.

Shoutout to the NC Bronco Club for spending the day with us, and we look forward to hitting the trails together again soon.
