10TH ANNIVERSARY MUSTANG RTR SPEC 5

How do you celebrate 10 years of creating vehicles and components that put smiles on faces? We created this very special Mustang RTR Spec 5 that was limited to only 10 examples ever produced. The first Mustang RTR was created back in 2010 and that just so happened to be the same year Vaughn Gittin Jr. won his first Formula Drift Championship. The 2020 10th Anniversary Mustang RTR Spec 5 was equipped with everything that we offered at the time for the Ford Mustang plus a few extra goodies that paid homage to the Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD we compete with in Formula Drift.

Every 10th Anniversary Mustang RTR Spec 5 was built from a Mustang GT equipped with the Performance Package and painted Leadfoot Gray. You could select 5 different accent colors. The accent colors were Hyper Lime, Grabber Blue, Race Red, Orange Fury or Space White. Although 5 colors were available, no one optioned their 10th Anniversary Mustang RTR Spec 5 with the Race Red accent option.

Below are the components each 10th Anniversary Mustang RTR are equipped with:

  • Ford Performance Phase 2 Supercharger Kit (Produces 750 horsepower/670 lb-ft of torque)
  • Upgraded Drive train components including axle half shafts
  • RTR Tactical Performance Coilovers
  • Spec 5 widebody Flares

Check out a side by side shot of the Mustang RTR Spec 5 and the 10th Anniversary Mustang RTR Spec 5. The most notable differences between the two are the accent graphics and painted accents. We also added front and rear canards that were inspired from the Mustang RTR Spec 5-FDs that we compete with in Formula Drift. “Spec 5” badges were placed on the upper grille and rear decklid in our signature Hyper Lime color.

Before the release of the 10th Anniversary Mustang RTR Spec 5, the Spec 5 was only available through special projects. This was the first time that the Mustang RTR Spec 5 was available to the public. All of them are out in the wild and have found homes across the world. Here is a breakdown of where each vehicle was sold and what accent color was selected.
