Our second collaboration vehicle with Ford Motor Company has landed! The Ford Bronco RTR order banks are officially open, and we wanted to kick things off the right way. RTR Vehicles hosted an immersion day at RTR Lab Farmington in New Mexico, bringing together automotive journalists and content creators for a full day behind the scenes and behind the wheel with Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Loren Healy leading the charge.
Meet the Ford Bronco RTR
The Ford Bronco RTR starts under $51,000 and arrives ready for whatever you point it at. Built on the capable 2.3L EcoBoost engine with anti-lag, the Bronco RTR comes standard with HOSS 1.0 suspension and 33-inch tires, with an available HOSS 3.0 suspension upgrade and 35-inch tires for those who want to push further into the terrain. A 1000W fan borrowed straight from the Bronco Raptor keeps things cool when the trail gets demanding, while Rock Rails, beadlock capable 17-inch wheels, and Signature RTR LED Lighting round out a package that is as purposeful as it is sharp. RTR appearance graphics, custom accents, and Hyper Lime design details tie it all together with the RTR identity that owners have come to know.
The Immersion Day
The day opened with a full walk around of the Ford Bronco RTR with Vaughn and Loren walking the group through every feature and capability the vehicle brings to the table. From there, guests toured the RTR Lab Farmington facility, getting an inside look at where the RTR off-road program lives and breathes every day.
Then it was time to experience it firsthand. Attendees got ride alongs in the Ford Bronco RTR, took a shot at RC racing with the RTR Bronco, and strapped into the simulator for Ford Racing Bronco Raptor 4400 Ultra4 runs that gave everyone a taste of what full-send off-road competition feels like. Time was set aside for creators to roam, shoot, and make content on their own terms before Vaughn and Loren took everyone for rides in the Bronco Raptor 4600 and handed over the keys to the Bronco RTR for some drive time of their own.
The night wrapped with dinner featuring Ford Bronco RTR branded meals, good conversation, and stories of how everyone’s experience was for the day.
