In the world of motorsports, where speed and precision reign supreme, the visual identity of a race car is not just about aesthetics—it's a statement of intent, a reflection of heritage, and a canvas for innovation. This year, RTR Vehicles is proud to introduce the 2024 liveries for the Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD, designed for our esteemed drivers James Deane and Ben Hobson, as they prepare to take on the challenges of the 2024 Formula Drift season.

The champion is back and supported by heritage.

James Deane's Livery for the 2026 Formula Drift Season

James Deane enters 2026 as a back-to-back-to-back title contender, having claimed the Formula Drift championship in both 2024 and 2025. This year, he does it under the banner of a new title partner: O'Reilly Auto Parts. The O'Reilly Auto Parts Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD brings with it a bold green accent scheme that does double duty — complementing O'Reilly's brand perfectly while giving a nod to James' Irish roots. It's a design that means something, and that's exactly the kind of detail that makes an RTR livery more than just another wrap job.

James will compete in all eight rounds of the 2026 season. The target? Make it three in a row.

Ben Hobson has always had a signature. In 2026, he's building on it.

Ben Hobson's Livery for the 2026 Formula Drift Season

The Pennzoil Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD returns with Ben Hobson's unmistakable pink tonal accents, more exposed carbon, and a bolder presence from every angle.. A vibrant yellow takes center stage, while a fresh white top section adds a new dimension to the design. The result is a car that feels evolved without losing an ounce of what makes Ben's livery instantly recognizable. Bold, bright, and impossible to miss.

Ben will join James on the full Formula Drift circuit, competing in all eight rounds as Pennzoil's partnership with RTR continues to fuel one of the most exciting campaigns on the grid.

The two-time champ returns.

Vaughn Gittin Jr's Livery for the 2026 Formula Drift Season

Vaughn Gittin Jr. returns to the Formula Drift grid to compete in Round 2 in Atlanta and Round 8 in Long Beach in 2026. The Monster Energy Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD is everything you'd expect from Vaughn with a twist of blue, his iconic green wheels and accents, exposed carbon fiber bringing raw aggression to the build, and that same white top tying it back to the team.

Look closely and you’ll also notice a hint of dazzle camo, a nod to the bold wrap featured on the Mustang RTR unveiled at the 2025 Detroit Auto Show. This is a car built to turn heads and shake up the competition — which Vaughn has no problem doing so. And no, going easy on his teammates is not on the table.

Three New Tracks. New Challenges. Same RTR Energy.

The 2026 Formula Drift season doesn't just bring new liveries — it brings new battlegrounds. Formula Drift is venturing to three brand-new tracks this year, and we couldn't be more fired up about it. New layouts. New challenges. New opportunities to adapt, compete, and show what the RTR program is built for. We thrive on pushing into the unknown, and this season is going to test every team on the grid.

Let’s get it.

See them in action at Round 1 of Formula Drift in Long Beach, California!

The 2026 Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD’s of James and Ben make their competition debut at Round 1 of Formula Drift in Long Beach, California on April 10-11. If you're there, come find us. If you're watching from home, keep it locked on our channels — this is a season you don't want to miss.

Its actually true when they say that he (james deane) is the ‘machine’ cuz after all the crashes last year, he was still comitted to win the championship. this year was also mixed with highs and lows but its great to see that his team never gives up, they worked real hard everytime to get the car back on the track whenever something wrong went with the car. the perfect example was at ‘long beach’. his car caught fire before the event , it must have been really hard for the team to understand what happened but they wasted no time and brought the car back within a week ( btw the car seemed even more monstrous after the revival ) . as hard work always pays off, he did managed to win the top 16… His team never gives up and so is james, the amount of dedication he has is just wonderful. Its one of the reason tha why he has won this year, i hope this destiny and legacy continues . i can only say that he is accompanied by the perfect team , and this RTR relation with james will not end very soon. But big up to RTR and Mr. Vaughn for building such a great car. For Mr. Ben hobson , the story goes the similar way. it must’ve have been a fun year for him, IMP he got to learn a lot of things from the team this year and its no doubt that he might actually take the next year’s championship all to himself. Most importantly, both the cars look too sexy and tough.

Deane’s car looks good as always and Hobson’s car is looking great. Looks like Denofa’s old color way. Looking forward to see how Hobson does this year In place of Denofa since his leaving after his 23’ season win. Although Looking good, killer as always 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
