Today, the Mint 400 is a multi-day celebration of off-road culture. The week kicks off with the legendary parade down the Las Vegas Strip on Wednesday, where race vehicles cruise past casinos and crowds before teams head into the kickoff party and final preparations. From there, drivers head into the Nevada desert to take on a brutal 94.36-mile course surrounding Las Vegas.

With over 540 drivers and riders entered across dozens of classes, the 2026 Mint 400 marked the second event of the 2026 season for the RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team. After a strong showing in 2025 where all three RTR drivers landed on the podium, the team returned ready to push even harder.

Friday: Bailey Campbell and Loren Healy Take On the Desert
Friday’s racing featured two members of the RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team tackling the punishing Mint 400 course: Bailey Campbell and Loren Healy.
For Bailey Campbell, the event marked another major step forward in her sophomore season with the team. Driving her Bronco Raptor 4600 in the Rock600: Stock class, Bailey and co-driver Bryan Crofts delivered an impressive performance across the rugged Nevada terrain. The course demanded everything from high-speed desert runs to technical sections where precision and patience mattered just as much as horsepower.

Staying consistent throughout the race, Bailey powered her Bronco Raptor across the finish line with a time of 7:27:43.156, earning P1 in class and securing another victory for the Ford Racing and RTR Vehicles Off-Road team

Running alongside her on Friday was off-road veteran Loren Healy in the Ford Bronco Raptor, competing in the Stock Production Mini/Mid class with co-driver Eric Davis. Loren entered the event with strong momentum after winning the Stock Production Truck Full class at the 2025 Mint 400, and once again proved why he is one of the most versatile drivers in the sport.

Battling through the rough desert course, Loren faced a shock failure shortly after embarking on the course. After getting back to the pits, the RTR Vehicles Off-Road team went to work, quickly getting the Bronco Raptor back on track. When the dust settled, he crossed the finish line with a time of 7:13:03.007, earning P2 in class and another podium finish for the team.

Saturday: Vaughn Gittin Jr. Takes his 4400 Truck to Victory
Saturday’s spotlight belonged to Vaughn Gittin Jr., who took on the Mint 400 for the first time behind the wheel of the Bronco Raptor 4400, AKA “Brocky”.

While Vaughn is no stranger to off-road competition, this marked his first time running the Mint 400 in the “big truck” 4400 machine. Competing in the Class 1 Unlimited category, he and co-driver Jeremy Dickenson were prepared to conquer the toughest off-road race in America.
As the race unfolded, Vaughn pushed the Bronco Raptor hard across the unforgiving course. Conditions grew increasingly challenging as the day continued. His stint stretched into the evening, forcing him to navigate deteriorating terrain and blinding sunset conditions as the desert course continued to break down lap after lap.

After spanning the race to lap 4, Vaughn and Jeremy made a key adjustment inside the truck, dialing the FOX Live Valve shocks to their stiffest setting. “We’re either breaking the truck, or we’re going to have a very fast lap,” said Vaughn. “My body feels like I was in a ten-hour car crash”. Running a 2:23:41.573 on lap 4, the strategy paid off.
After hours of intense racing, Vaughn crossed the finish line with a time of 10:13:31.956, securing P1 in the Class 1 Unlimited class and delivering a victory for the RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team.

A Strong Start to the 2026 Season
With three drivers competing across multiple classes, the 2026 Mint 400 once again proved why it remains one of the toughest and most respected events in off-road racing in America.
The RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team walked away with two class wins and another podium finish, continuing the momentum built in 2025 when all three drivers also landed on the podium.

From Bailey Campbell’s victory in the 4600 class, to Loren Healy’s consistent podium performance, to Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s first Mint 400 win in the unlimited Bronco Raptor 4400, the team demonstrated both capability and endurance across the demanding Nevada desert.
As the second event of the 2026 season, the Mint 400 reinforced the continued evolution of the RTR Vehicles Off-Road program and the performance of the Bronco platforms competing at the highest levels of desert racing. We’re proud to be working with our partners at Ford Racing to push the boundaries of what the Ford Raptor is capable of across the board.

And with the season just getting started, the team is already looking ahead to the next challenge.
