Fresh Looks For 2026: RTR Vehicles Formula Drift Liveries

The wait is over. We’re pulling the covers off three all-new liveries for the 2026 Formula Drift season, and they might just be our most striking yet. Three cars. Three drivers. Three stories — all united under one roof and ready to rock starting April 10-11 in Long Beach, California.

A New Era, A Familiar Edge

This year we're continuing to campaign three Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-FDs with a shared design thread — a clean white top that ties all three cars together while letting each driver's identity shine through. It's a subtle nod to our team DNA, a reminder that no matter how different the stories, we move as one.

The champion is back and supported by heritage.

James Deane's Livery for the 2026 Formula Drift Season

James Deane enters 2026 as a back-to-back-to-back title contender, having claimed the Formula Drift championship in both 2024 and 2025. This year, he does it under the banner of a new title partner: O'Reilly Auto Parts. The O'Reilly Auto Parts Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD brings with it a bold green accent scheme that does double duty — complementing O'Reilly's brand perfectly while giving a nod to James' Irish roots. It's a design that means something, and that's exactly the kind of detail that makes an RTR livery more than just another wrap job.

James will compete in all eight rounds of the 2026 season. The target? Make it three in a row.

Ben Hobson has always had a signature. In 2026, he's building on it.

Ben Hobson's Livery for the 2026 Formula Drift Season

The Pennzoil Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD returns with Ben Hobson's unmistakable pink tonal accents, more exposed carbon, and a bolder presence from every angle.. A vibrant yellow takes center stage, while a fresh white top section adds a new dimension to the design. The result is a car that feels evolved without losing an ounce of what makes Ben's livery instantly recognizable. Bold, bright, and impossible to miss.

Ben will join James on the full Formula Drift circuit, competing in all eight rounds as Pennzoil's partnership with RTR continues to fuel one of the most exciting campaigns on the grid.

The two-time champ returns.

Vaughn Gittin Jr's Livery for the 2026 Formula Drift Season

Vaughn Gittin Jr. returns to the Formula Drift grid to compete in Round 2 in Atlanta and Round 8 in Long Beach in 2026. The Monster Energy Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD is everything you'd expect from Vaughn with a twist of blue, his iconic green wheels and accents, exposed carbon fiber bringing raw aggression to the build, and that same white top tying it back to the team.

Look closely and you’ll also notice a hint of dazzle camo, a nod to the bold wrap featured on the Mustang RTR unveiled at the 2025 Detroit Auto Show. This is a car built to turn heads and shake up the competition — which Vaughn has no problem doing so. And no, going easy on his teammates is not on the table.

Three New Tracks. New Challenges. Same RTR Energy.

The 2026 Formula Drift season doesn't just bring new liveries — it brings new battlegrounds. Formula Drift is venturing to three brand-new tracks this year, and we couldn't be more fired up about it. New layouts. New challenges. New opportunities to adapt, compete, and show what the RTR program is built for. We thrive on pushing into the unknown, and this season is going to test every team on the grid.

Let’s get it.
